Consider the lilies, how they grow:
they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you,
even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Spider lilies, surprise lilies, hurricane lilies, naked ladies,
whatever you call them in your part of the world,
they are a lovely way to introduce October.
